Marketing in Technology Services and Modernization at Tieto is responsible for the marketing of key selected areas and offerings related to Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Applications and End user services portfolio. Our key stakeholders include, Product management, presales, business development, sales, marketing functions in the industries, communications and central marketing teams.

The role is a key role in preparing for launches, go-to-market plans and coordinating marketing activities. As part of Tieto marketing organization, the Marketing Manager provides the tools, channels and needed support from Tieto marketing network to support sales to succeed. The marketing manager will work in a global environment and coordinate activities across the Nordics.

In this role, you will create sales oriented content and point of view/ thought leadership content, use appropriate ways and tools to communicate with existing and new customers, create value propositions, articulate business value of our solutions, make our offerings visible to the target audience/ markets and bring solid solution marketing knowledge to the sales development process. The scope of the role will also include

  • Support larger sales deals from a marketing perspective with value proposition development and storytelling
  • Support and drive, development and execution of marketing plans for chosen priority Tieto wide and cross functional marketing themes and solutions
  • Support and drive creation of world class marketing materials to support Tieto businesses
  • Manage key customer events related to the service area

We expect you to have

  • University degree/ Master’s degree in either business, marketing or economics
  • 4-8 years of work experience in marketing within ICT area
  • Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills and fluent in English. Swedish and Finnish is an advantage
  • Strong product marketing or solution marketing understanding, including - developing value propositions, value argumentation and storytelling approach
  • Capability to understand changes across industries, customer's technology road maps, related emerging opportunities and capability to plan Tieto value proposition and position in the markets/industry
  • Some experience within digital and SoMe marketing and analytics
  • Great communication and presentation skills and capable of working with different stakeholders within Tieto. Able to team up with other team members in a matrix setup
  • Some experience of executing marketing activities, content creation and campaigns in B2B environment is an advantage
  • Great skills in writing and editing (English) (again, Swedish and Finnish will be an advantage)
